Graduate Spotlight

ANDREW DONHAM

Andrew is the son of Leann Musick and Stephen Donham. His contributions to SAISD through keeping the crowd engaged at pep rallies and football games and via participation in athletic and academic endeavors left a mark on the district that is impactful!

Andrew was involved in a variety of activities throughout high school career, including Basketball from grades 9 through 11, participation in the Stock Show events from grades 9 through 12, Ag Mechanics during grades 9 and 10, FFA CDE and LDE events from grades 9 through 12, and band from grades 9 through 11.

In addition to his extracurricular involvement, this outstanding graduate demonstrated strong leadership and earned recognition as Class Treasurer all four years. He also served as an FFA Officer in the roles of FFA Sentinel his sophomore year, Reporter his junior year, and Secretary his senior year. Additionally, Andrew was honored as a Homecoming Court Nominee and Student of the Week.

Academically, Andrew earned distinctions such as the Star Greenhand Award, membership in the National Honor Society, and Dual Credit achievements. He has further expanded his skills by obtaining certifications in welding, feedlot management, and CPR.

Outside of school, this graduate dedicated time to volunteering at the Corine T. Smith Animal Shelter and working concession stands. His hobbies included stock showing and playing basketball.

Andrew plans to pursue a career in building construction, with the goal of eventually starting his own business.
