The Mountaineer Media Center provides:

• a flexible space with a wide and inclusive range of resources to support learning and teaching throughout the school;
• a vibrant role in the development of a culture that promotes wider reading, motivated readers and learners for life;
• a place for collaborative learning, creativity, and for developing independent research and information literacy skills.

Follett Destiny is a complete library and resource management system that can be accessed anywhere at any time, strengthening the ties between the library, classroom and home. 

Texquest is a statewide digital resources program that provides anytime, anywhere access to high quality, authoritative digital resources to all educators, students, and students' immediate families in Texas K-12 public schools.

The mission of school libraries is to ensure that students and staff are able to use ideas and information. The libraries provide access to materials in all formats. They help increase students' interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas.
