Since arriving officially on June 1st, the Santa Anna community has been wonderful. I have learned instantaneously that we are a welcoming family, intent on giving our very best to our students. After meeting with stakeholders (staff, students, parents, and community members), I can easily conclude we have an amazing, caring staff that is supported by a fantastic community that is willing to come together in greatness in support of students and each other.
Santa Anna ISD is energized to continue the great works under our local hero, Mr. David Robinett, to build on previous successes and continuously improve in all areas. My personal goal is to be a part of a World Class district; a place were other districts across Texas and the nation come to see how things are done right. We will continue to make great decisions that put our children first, providing opportunities individualized for each student in addition to high quality instruction for all students. We believe in treating each child as if they were our very own, building the best future and the ability to compete globally in any field of student interest.
Our staff is committed to each other, focused on modeling life-long learning and continuous growth. We fully support our students and each other in all endeavors, celebrating our victories and lifting each other up through our struggles. I have learned through interactions with all stakeholders that Mountaineer pride flows through the entire community; willing and able to step up to make our schools and community shine.
My family and I are blessed to join the Santa Anna community and are thrilled to be a part of the Mountaineer team. My wife Kim is a Rice and University of Denver graduate and is looking forward to the start of the 2020-21 school year. We have four children, ranging from ages 5 to 12, all excited to be Mountaineers. We hope that you all find Santa Anna to be as wonderful and welcoming as we have; hoping you’ll join us as a part of the Mountaineer family.
