Three Santa Anna FFA Officers were able to attend the 92nd National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sudie Puckett, Keilei Isbell, and Monica Ceniceros raised the funds to pay for their attendance. They were able to visit some interesting places, and try some new things along the way to and from Convention. Stops included: the only see through public restrooms in the United States, Downtown Nashville (the Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Walk of Fame), Lost River Cave, the Gateway Arch, and the World's Largest Bass Pro Shops.
Along with the stops, they also got to experience the National Convention and Expo. There were over 65,000 FFA Members, Advisors, and Guests in attendance. While at the Expo, they were tasked with trying to get an autograph from a member from all 50 state, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. While they were unable to attain a signature from all 52 locations, they got the chance to meet and talk to people from nearly every State.
They heard a speech from Bob Goff about expressing your love and faith. Mr. Goff was entertaining, and high energy. The girls all said they enjoyed his speech. They also got to hear inspiring speeches from the National FFA Advisor, Dr. Steve Brown, and the National FFA Officer Team.
Though they were road weary by the time we got back to Santa Anna, all of the girls said it was well worth it. Thank you to all of the people who donated, bought baked goods, and helped make this trip possible!
Sudie, Keilei, and Monica would like to say a special "Thank you" to Ms. Marie for going with us!
