The schedule for the homecoming activities are as follows:

7:00 pm Pre-Game Ceremony: Coming Home King, Queen; Ex-Student of the Year

Coming Home King: Shyler Farley

Shyler Fashyler farleyrley is a graduate of the Class of 2002. In High School, Shyler participated in Tennis, Basketball, and FFA. Shyler was the recipient of different Tennis and Ag awards throughout his High School Career.

After graduation, Shyler married his High School Sweetheart, Davia Rankin Farley in September of 2003. Together, they have 3 beautiful children, Spurr a Sophomore, Jayda a 7th grader, and Skylar a 3rd grader, who all attend Santa Anna ISD. Shyler was also blessed with an amazing sister, Caylie Robinett (Whom wrote this for her loving brother), who also graduated from Santa Anna ISD.

Shyler started his career in the oilfield in 2004 working throughout the United States as a Cement Pumper and Blender Operator, He worked his way up to, Sr. Production Testing Operator to Field Superintendent for Manek Energy and Flo Tech. Shyler spent 11 years as an Independent Contractor as a Completion Consultant for ConocoPhillips. Presently, Shyler works as an Independent Contractor as a Production Consultant for EarthStone Energy.

Shyler is the owner of Circle F Adventures, which is a family owned and operated trophy and exotic hunting business out of Santa Anna, Texas. Shyler also serves as the current Vice President of the Santa Anna Livestock Association. When Shyler isn’t working, he spends his days with his family and children. Shyler is passionate about promoting his family’s love, especially his children’s love, for livestock and showing pigs. Shyler and his family enjoy attending and participating in local and major Livestock shows, as well Prospect and Jackpot Shows. Shyler works hard to instill in his children the importance of hard work, demonstrating good showmanship, and being good leaders.

Shyler is honored to have chosen as the 2022 Coming Home King.


Coming Home Queen: Jamie Wade Richardson

Jamie Ricjamie richardsonhardson is a member of the Santa Anna High School graduating class of 2002. While in school at Santa Anna, Jamie participated in volleyball, golf, 4H, One-Act Play, and the Pals Program. She was the football manager, a class officer, and a member of the student council, Jamie was awarded many awards and honors during her high school career including being named homecoming queen her senior year.

After graduating from Santa Anna High School in 2002, Jamie went to Ranger College to pursue cosmetology. After graduation, she worked at Sharon’s Beauty Shop until she returned to college to pursue a degree in nursing. Jamie has been a nurse now for fourteen years.

In September 2012, Jamie married Chance Richardson. Together, they have three daughters, Nataani, Mykia, and Naomi. Jamie and her family reside in Santa Anna.

Jamie enjoys watching her children’s activities. She is an active parent in the school and community. Jamie is a member of the First Baptist Church in Santa Anna. She is the vice president of the Santa Anna Booster Club. She also enjoys helping with Santa Anna Youth Sports. Jamie is honored to be named the Coming Home Queen for the class of 2022.


Ex-Student of the Year: Glenda Lea Strickland Keeney

Glenda’glenda keeneys parents are Donald and Janette Strickland. Glenda attend Santa Anna Elementary, Junior High and High School.

Her siblings Donna Strickland Bradley and David Strickland are both graduates of Santa Anna.

Durning her school years she played, volleyball, basketball, tennis, she was a Cheerleader, a member of the beta club, FHA and annual staff. Glenda enjoyed her years in high school with her best friend Patti Perkins Barton. You could usually find them two together getting into trouble. Patti passed away in 2019.

After graduation Glenda married and had three children. Glenda is being escorted tonight by her children, Zane Keeney Santa Anna graduate of 1991 and Kristen Keeney Donham Santa Anna graduate of 1998. Glenda’s son Lee Keeney Santa Anna graduate of 1996 went to be the the Lord in 1998. Glenda spent most of her younger years being a homemaker and following her kids in anything and everything they were involved in. Glenda has worked in the beauty industry, she was a steel yard foreman, and the health care field and is currently employed with the Santa Anna National Bank and is a realtor with Ranch Realty. She is also a current member of the EDC and the First Baptist Church of Santa Anna.

On her spare time Glenda likes going to estate sales and antique shops.

Glenda’s biggest accomplishment of her life is her family. She has 6 grandchildren. Sierra, Branson and Carson Keeney, Alexis, Adalee and Avery Donham. She also has 3 great grand babies and another one arriving in January. Bentlee and Haisley Crowder and Logan and Baby Boy Keeney. Sierra graduated from Lakeland Florida in 2013.

5 of my six grandchildren graduated from Santa Anna High School. Branson 2016, Carson 2017, Alexis 2018, Adalee 2021, Avery 2022. Her oldest great grandson Bentlee is the fourth generation to attend Santa Anna ISD.

Since 1985 she has always been seen in the stands supporting her kids and grandkids. Her happiest times is being surrounded by her family. She is not a grandma she is a Meme or Nene. Glenda is very honored to be selected as Ex Student of the Year. Once a Mountaineer, Always a Mountaineer.
