12 students received 14 AWS D9.1 welding certifications. All of the students who attempted the certification test improved dramatically in their welding skills from the start of the year to now.
To gain their certification, the students must meet the American Welding Society standards for the D9.1 sheet metal code. Each of the students who passed did so by meeting and exceeding those stringent standards.
Domanic Enriquez and Trace Garrett received a certification in both stick (SMAW) and wire (GMAW) welding. Bailey Crossley, Dylan Deleon, and Madison Diaz received their stick welding certifications, while Kali Corns, Greg Juarez, Ivan Olguin, Jake Smiley, Luke Dotson, Monica Ceniceros, and Rance Railsback got theirs with wire. Each of the students who passed received a wallet card. Each wallet card contains instructions in order to look up their specific certifications.
Congratulations to each and everyone of you who attempted, and super congratulations to all who passed! This is not easy, it takes a lot of skill and practice to become proficient. I am sure proud of all of you!
