On Tuesday, September 18th, five of the Santa Anna FFA Officers traveled to Abilene to participate in Chapter Officer Leadership Training (C.O.L.T.). The officers that attended were: Cody Robertson, President; Dylan DeLeon, Vice President; Bailey Crossley, Secretary; Trace Garrett, Reporter, and Rance Railsback, Sentinel. While at C.O.L.T. the officers heard from Big Country area business leaders, college professors, a former National FFA Officer, Aaron Watson's business manager, and a veterinarian. They also toured the Taylor County Expo Center and Denton Valley Farms. The officers learned about leadership, vision and mission development, job interview skills, and living to serve. C.O.L.T. was a fantastic learning/leadership experience that has inspired the Chapter Officer Team to come home and lead their Chapter towards great things.
