"Measured by Character" to be Presented April 17

Jacque Rosales,21st Century CLC ACE Project Director &Texas ACE Communication Network Region 15 Representative, has announced that through collaboration with Coleman County School Districts, an amazing speaker will be coming Tuesday, April 17 to present to junior high and high school students and staff.  Measured by Character is a program that is real, raw, and relevant!  “It promises to grab the students’ attention right from the start and keeps them engaged throughout the entire program.  The message tears down the invisible face mask that kids put up around them, and penetrates into their hearts and minds.  It causes them to truly look at their lives through different eyes!”, exclaims Wade White, speaker and creator of the Measured by Character program.  MBC is dedicated to empowering youth by encouraging them to recognize that their lives have purpose and meaning.  Their lives are affecting the environment around them in either a positive or negative way.  MBC shares the knowledge that none of us are promised tomorrow, and we are creating our personal legacies with each passing day.  They urge students to reflect on what type of legacy they are creating for themselves.  I am extremely excited to hear his message and hope that our students gain great insight into their lives and future and start becoming advocates for not only their success but others around them.

Program will start at 10am in the  Coleman ISD New High School Gym (enter at the South main entrance) and could last anywhere from 1 ½ to 2 hours depending on student response.  Please plan accordingly.  You can arrive as early as 9:30am to get seated.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Laurie Hunter, Santa Anna Principal, announced that students in grades 7-12 will leave for the event at 9:15 and return to the school at noon.
